GREEN PLUMS STEW
1/2 lb (226g) Green Plums 1/2 lb (226g) Stew Beef 1 bunch Parsley, Mint 1 Small Onion Turmeric, Salt, Ground Chili Pepper 4 Tbsp Vegetable Oil PREPARATIONS: 1- Dice the onion. 2- Chop stew beef in small pieces. 3- Mince the herbs (Parsley and Mint). 4- Boil 4-5 Cups Water. DIRECTIONS: 1- Fry the onions in a small pot with 2 tbsp vegetable oil until translucent. 2- Add the Chopped Stew beef to the pot, stir and continue frying until the beef becomes brown. 3- Add Turmeric and stir and continue frying for 2 more minutes. 4- Pour in enough boiling water to the pot to cover the mixture by 2 inches (Approx. 1.5 cup Boiling water). 5- Cover the pot with the lid and simmer it for 75 minutes. 6- Fry the minced herbs (parsley and mint) with 2 tbsp Vegetable oil in a pot. 7- Add the fried herbs to the ground beef mixture pot and stir. 8- Pour in enough boiling water to the pot until it covers the mixture and stir. 9- Add ground chili pepper and salt to the pot. 11- Cover the pot with the lid and continue simmering for 15 minutes. 12- Add the green plums to the pot, stir until well mixed. 13- Cover the pot with the lid and continue cooking for 10 minutes at low heat.
