TAFTOON BREAD
Nan e Taftoon
1 2/3 Cup All Purpose Flour 1/2 Tsp Yeast 1 Tsp Sugar 1/4 Tsp Salt (as you prefer) 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil Nigella Seeds, Sesame Seeds PREPARATIONS: 1- Heat a cup of water to 105º - 115º F (40º - 46º C). DIRECTIONS: 1- Pour the hot water into a large bowl. 2- Add yeast, Sugar, salt and vegetable oil and stir thoroughly. 3- Add the flour gradually as you stir and knead. Add more flour if needed. 4- Knead for 7 to 10 minutes on a floured working surface. 5- Place the dough back into the bowl, cover with a lid or plastic wrap. 6- Allow the dough to rise for 40 minutes. 7- Preheat a griddle over medium to high heat. 8- Take a fist full of the dough and roll out on a floured surface using a rolling pin. 9- Place the bread over the griddle and sprinkle with nigella seeds and sesame seeds. 10- Flip the bread.
