2 Pears Puff Pastry Dough

1/2 Cup Honey 1 Cup Sugar 1/2 Lime 4 Cardamoms 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract Preparations: 1- Peel the pears skin. 2- Cut the bottom of the pears to make them more stable. Directions: SYRUP: 1- Combine sugar, 2 cups of water, and honey in a pot. 2- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. 3- Stir in the pears and cardamoms to the syrup. 4- Squeeze half of lime into the pot. 5- Stir in vanilla extract. 6- Continue boiling for 45 minutes. 7- Remove the pears from the syrup. Set aside to cool down. 8- Continue boiling the syrup for 30 more minutes or until thickened. 9- Roll out the puff pastry dough and cut into one inch strips. 10- Wrap the puff pastry strips around the pears as shown in the video. 11- Transfer the pears onto a cooke pan covered by parchment paper. 12- Preheat oven to 400º F (204º C), bake the pastry for 20 minutes. 13- Garnish with the thickened syrup and serve.
