Hasselback Apples
2 Apples 2 Tbsp Oats 0.5 oz (14g) Walnuts 3.5 oz (100g) Vanilla Ice Cream 1 Tsp All Purpose Flour 1 Tbsp Unsalted Butter 1 Tbsp Unsalted Butter 1 Tsp Brown Sugar 1 Tsp Brown Sugar 1 Tsp Cinnamon 1 Tsp Cinnamon Salt Preparations: 1- Chop the walnuts. Directions: 1- Melt butter (1 Tbsp) in a saucepan. 2- Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon (1 tsp). 3- Peel the apples. Cut in half. Make parallel cuts into the apple. (Don't cut the bottom). 4- Grease a bakeware with vegetable oil. 5- Transfer the apples over the bakeware. 6- Brush the apples with the butter mixture. 7- Cover the bakeware with aluminum foil. 8- Preheat oven to 400º F (204º C), bake the apples for 20 minutes. 9- Remove the aluminum cover and continue baking for another 5 minutes. TOPPING 10- Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, a pinch of salt, oats, flour, and walnuts. 11- Dice the unsalted butter and stir into the topping. 12- Remove the apples from oven. Top the apples with the topping. 13- Place the apples back into the oven and continue baking for another 5 minutes. 14- Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
