2 Cups All Purpose Flour 3.5 oz (100g) Unsalted Butter 1 Tbsp Plain Yogurt 2 Apples 1 Cup Sugar 2 Eggs 1 Egg 1/2 Cup Milk 2 Tsp Baking Powder 1 Tsp Cinnamon Powder 1/4 Tsp Vanilla Extract PREPARATIONS: 1- Leave the butter at room temperature for 10 minutes to melt. 2- Grate the apples. DIRECTIONS: 1- Whisk the butter until softened. 2- Add 2 eggs, sugar and vanilla extract, and continue whisking until well combined. 3- Stir in the milk and baking powder. 4- Gradually stir in flour, whisking. 5- In a separate container, combine grated apple and cinnamon powder. 6- Grease a bakeware with vegetable oil, Take half of of the batter and spread across the bakeware. 7- Add a layer of the apple mixture on top. 8- Roll out the remaining of the batter on a aluminum foil to the size of the bakeware. 9- Transfer/lay the batter over the apple mixture. GLAZE: 10- Combine plain yogurt and 1 egg and whisk until well fluffy. 11- Preheat oven to 275 F (135 C), bake the cake for 60 hours.

Kotlet (Cutlet)

   (Beef Patties)

  • 1 lb (453g) Ground Beef
  • 1 Large Potato
  • 2 Medium Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Small Onion
  • Persian Spice (Advieh Shami)
  • Ground Chili Pepper, Black Pepper Powder, Turmeric, Salt
PREPARATIONS:

1- Grate the onion.
2- Grate the garlic cloves.
3- Grate the potatoes.

DIRECTIONS:

1- In a big bowl, combine the grated onions, garlic cloves and potatoes.
2- Add the ground beef and sprinkle Persian spice mix, ground chili pepper, black pepper powder, turmeric and salt and mix thoroughly until well combined.
3- Take a fist full of the mixture and flatten the patties (using the palm of hand).
4- Fry the beef patties in vegetable oils and flip for both sided to fry.
