SOUFFLE

1 1/2 Tbsp All-Purpose Flour 2 Tbsp Milk 1 Tbsp Unsalted Butter 1/2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter 1/8 Tsp Cream of Tartar 1/8 Tsp Vanilla Extract 1 Tsp Sugar 2 Tsp Sugar 1/8 Tsp Salt 1 Egg Preparations: None. Directions: 1- Melt 1/2 tbsp butter in a saucepan. 2- Grease a soufflé dish with the melted butter and sprinkle with 1 tsp sugar. 3- Keep the souffle dish in refrigerator while preparing the souffle. 4- Melt one tablespoon butter in saucepan. 5- Add flour and keep stirring for 2 minutes over medium heat. 6- Stir in milk and turn off the heat. 7- Separate egg yolk and white. 8- Beat the egg yolk thoroughly. 9- Whisk in vanilla extract, 10- Mix in the butter mixture to the egg (yolk). 11- Whisk the egg whites until stiff. 12- Whisk in 2 tbsp sugar, tartar cream, and salt. 13- Add the egg white mixture to the egg yolk. Fold until well mixed. 14- Remove the souffle dish from refrigerator. Transfer the batter to the dish. 15- Preheat oven to 375º F (190º C), bake the souffle for 30 minutes.
