Sliced Breads 2 Eggs 1 Cup Half and Half 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar 1 oz (28g) Pecans 6 Tbsp Unsalted Butter 1 Tbsp Unsalted Butter 2 Tbsp Light Corn Syrup 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon Powder 1/2 Tsp Nutmeg Powder Salt Preparations: 1- Chop the pecans. Directions: SYRUP: 1- Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter (6 tbsp) in a saucepan. 2- While stirring, boil the mixture until all the ingredients are dissolved in butter. 3- Stir in the pecans and set aside. 4- Beat the eggs in a large bowl. 5- Stir in half and half, vanilla extract, cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder, and a pinch of salt. 6- Whisk the ingredients until mixed thoroughly. 7- Deep sliced breads into the mixture. Allow the bread to seat in the mixture for few seconds to absorb the mixture in. 8- Fry the breads with butter (1 tbsp) for 3 to 4 minutes on each side. 9- Top with the freshly made syrup when serving.
