BROCCOLI QUICHE
10 oz (283g) Broccoli 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour Cheddar Cheese (Approx. 1/3 Cup) 3 Eggs 1/2 Cup Milk 1/4 Cup Olive Oil 1 Garlic Clove 1 Onion 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil 1/2 Tsp Salt 1 Small Bell Pepper Curry Seasoning or Advieh (Persian Spice Mix) Rosemary, Ground Chili Pepper, Salt, Black Pepper PREPARATIONS: 1- Dice the onion and bell pepper. 2- Slice the broccoli. DIRECTIONS: FILLING: 1- Fry the onions with vegetable oil in a pot until translucent. 2- Mash a fresh garlic clove into the pot. 3- Stir in curry seasoning and bell pepper. 4- Add the sliced broccoli to the mixture. 5- Over medium-low heat continue frying for 10 minutes. DOUGH: 6- Transfer the flour to a large bowl. 7- Stir in salt and rosemary. 8- Combine 1/4 cup of cold water with with olive oil and gradually add to the flour while stirring. 9- Knead the dough for few minutes. (the dough should look like the one in the video). 10- Grease a round shape bakeware with olive oil. 11- Transfer the dough onto the bakeware and spread the dough to cover the surface. 12- Using a fork, poke wholes throughout the dough. 13- Preheat oven to 355º F (179º C), Bake the dough for 10 minutes. 14- Meanwhile, Beat eggs until fluffy. 15- Stir in ground chili pepper, milk, salt and pepper. 16- Remove the bread from the oven and set aside to cool down. 17- Fill up the bread with the broccoli filling. 18- Cover with cheddar cheese. 19- Pour the egg mixture over the filling. 20- Bake the quiche over 355º F (179º C) heat for 35 minutes.
