Breakfast Casserole
8 oz (227g) Mushrooms 8 oz (227g) Ham (Beef or Pork) 2 oz (57g) Sharp Cheddar Cheese 2 oz (57g) Mozzarella Cheese 5 Eggs 1/2 Cup Milk 8 slices Wheat Bread 2 Tbsp All-Purpose Flour 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter 1 Small (2 oz / 57g) Bell Pepper Salt, Black Pepper Preparations: 1- Dice the bell pepper. 2- Slice the ham and mushrooms. 3- Shred the cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Directions: 1- Melt the butter in a large pan. 2- Fry the bell pepper. 3- Stir in the mushrooms and continue frying until brown. 4- Add the ham and continue frying for 5 more minutes. 5- Grease a casserole dish with butter. 6- Cover the dish with layer of slice wheat bread. 7- Add a layer of cheddar and mozzarella cheese. 8- Top with a layer of the fried vegetable (1/2). 9- Add another layer of cheddar cheese. 10- Cover with another layers of bread, cheddar cheese, mozzarella, and the rest of the fried vegetables. 11- Top with another layers of cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese. 12- In a separate bowl, Combine eggs, milk, and flour. 13- Garnish with as much as salt and pepper you would prefer. 14- Whisk well and add to the casserole. 15- Cover the casserole dish with an aluminum foil. 16- Pre-heat oven to 350º F (177º C), bake the breakfast casserole for 15 minutes.
