
Walnut Chocolate Cookies (Sweets)
5.2 oz (150g) Walnuts 1 Cup Sugar 5.2 oz (150g) Pasteurized or 4 Large Egg Whites 2 Tbsp All-Purpose Flour 1/2 Tsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder 1/4 Tsp Vanilla Extract 1/8 Tsp Baking Soda 1/2 Tbsp White Vinegar Preparations: 1- Grind the walnuts. Directions: 1- Combine the ground walnuts with sugar in a bowl. 2- Whisk the egg whites until fluffy. 3- Whisk in the walnuts and sugar mixture. 4- Stir in cocoa powder, vanilla extract, baking soda, white vinegar, and flour. 5- Transfer the mixture into a saucepan. 6- Over medium-low heat, heat the mixture until it's thicker (about 20 minutes) while stirring the entire time. Note: It is important to keep string as it prevents the white eggs from cluster. 7- Turn the heat off and allow the mixture to cool down thoroughly. 8- Using a pastry bag (tip of your choice), transfer the mixture over cookie pan covered with parchment paper. 9- Preheat oven to 350º F (177º C), bake the cookies for 20 minutes.
