
ZEBRA CAKE
1 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour 2 Eggs 1 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder 1/2 Cup Club Soda (Carbonated Water) 1 Cup Sugar 2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder 1/8 Tsp Vanilla Extract 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil PREPARATIONS: None. DIRECTIONS: 1- Beat eggs until stiff in a large bowl. 2- Add sugar, vanilla and vegetable oil and continue whisking until well mixed. 3- Combine flour with Baking powder and stir. 4- Gradually, add the flour mixture and club soda to the egg/sugar bowl while whisking (sift the flour). Note: Adjust/Add flour or club soda if necessary until the batter resembles the one in the video 5- Combine cocoa powder with boiled water (approx. 1 tbsp). 6- Divide the batter in half and add the cocoa mixture to one half, stir well. 7- Take a small 2 inch deep bakeware, grease with vegetable oil. 8- Add/drop few tablespoon of cocoa batter right in the middle of the bakeware, allow a minute for the cocoa batter to spread on its own and add same amount of batter (non cocoa) on top of the cocoa batter. 9- Continue the last two steps until finish. 10- Preheat oven to 350º F (176º C), bake the cake for 35 minutes.
