Turnip Soup
30 oz (850g) Turnips 1 lb (454g) Chicken Breast 15 oz (425g) Potatoes 1 oz (28g) Italian Parsley 1 Onion 2 Garlic Cloves Turmeric Vegetable Oil Salt Preparations: 1- Slice the onion. 2- Dice the chicken breast. 3- Grate the turnips and potatoes. 4- Mince the parsley. Directions: 1- Fry the onions with vegetable oil. 2- Stir in garlic cloves and the chicken breast and continue frying for 5 minutes. 3- Garnish with turmeric. 4- Stir in the grated turnips, potatoes and minced parsley. 5- Add enough water to cover the ingredients. 6- Stir in as much as salt you would prefer. 7- Cover the pot with a lid and simmer for 30 minutes over medium heat.
