
FOCACCIA BREAD
3 Cups All Purpose Flour 4 Tbsp Olive Oil 2 oz (56 g) Fresh Rosemary 3 Garlic Cloves 2 1/4 Tsp Yeast 1 Tsp Salt 1 Tsp Sugar Dried Basil, Ground Chili Pepper, Grated Parmesan Cheese PREPARATIONS: 1- Mince the rosemary (leaves only). 2- Heat a cup of water to 105º - 115º F (40º - 46º C). DIRECTIONS: 1- In a large bowl, mix salt, sugar, yeast and all purpose flour to combine. 2- Add 2 tbsp Olive oil to the bowl gradually while stirring. 3- Add the minced rosemary, pour in one cup of water gradually and knead the dough for 5 minutes. (The dough should be a little sticky, adjust the flour and water if needed. 4- Spray a bakeware with a cooking spray (9 by 13 bakeware). 5- Transfer the dough onto the bakeware and spread the dough to cover the surface evenly. 6- Cover the bakeware with a plastic wrap and let rise for 30 minutes (warm place). 7- Dimple the risen dough with a back of a spoon. 8- Sprinkle the dough with dried basil, ground chili pepper, grated parmesan cheese, mashed garlic cloves, few rosemary leaves and 2 tbsp of olive oil. 9- Cover the bakeware with plastic wrap and let rest for 20 more minutes at a warm place. 10- Remove the plastic wrap. 11- Preheat oven to 375º F (190º C), bake the bread for 15 to 20 minutes.
