(Christmas) Jam Cookies
1.25 Cup All Purpose Flour 6 Tbsp Unsalted Butter 1/3 Cup Sugar 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder 1 Egg 1 Tsp Cardamom 3.5 oz / 100g Raspberry Jam Salt Preparations: 1- Grind the cardamom. Directions: 1- Combine flour with a pinch of salt and baking powder and set aside. 2- Whisk the butter with sugar, egg and ground cardamom thoroughly. 3- Stir in the butter mixture to the flour. 4- Divide the batter in two and roll into a 2 inch cylinder shape. 5- Using a spoon's handle, make a channel into the batter. 6- Fill up with raspberry jam or a jam of your choice. 7- Preheat oven to 350º F (177º C), Bake the biscuits for 10 to 12 minutes. 8- Allow the biscuits to cool down. 9- Cut the biscuits and serve.
