CORN TORTILLA
1/2 Cup Cornmeal 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder 1/4 Tsp Salt 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil PREPARATIONS: 1- Heat the water to about 110º F (43º C). DIRECTIONS: 1- Combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. 2- Combine 1/3 Cup warm water with vegetable oil and gradually add to the flour bowl. 3- Stir in the warm water gradually, add more water if needed. 4- Transfer the dough to a nonstick floured working surface and knead for 7 to 10 minutes. 5- Divide the dough in four or five portion (as preferred) and place them back into the bowl. 6- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and rest for 10 to 15 minutes. 7- Roll out the dough to a thin round shape. 8- Preheat a pan over medium heat and bake the tortillas.
