
POTATO GNOCCHI
1.5 lb (680g) Potatoes
1 Egg
1/4 Cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
2/3 Cup Corn Flour
2/3 Cup All Purpose Flour
1 Cup Marinara Sauce
Salt, Dried Mint Leaves, White Pepper Powder, Turmeric, Garlic Powder
PREPARATIONS:
1- Cook the potatoes in microwave and peel the skin.

DIRECTIONS:
1- Place the cooked potatoes in a large bowl.
2- Mash the potatoes.
3- Add salt, dried mint leaves, white pepper powder, turmeric, and garlic powder. Stir thoroughly.
4- Allow the potatoes to cool down completely before the next step.
5- Add a medium size egg to the bowl. Stir until well combined.
6- Add shredded parmesan cheese.
7- Gradually, add corn flour and all purpose flour and stir well.
8- Take a fist full of the mixture and create a 2 inches cylinder shape on a well flour working surface.
9- Cut the cylinder in one inch rectangles, place a fork on top of each gnocchi and press down half way until you get a half inch imprint.
10- Take another pot, add a tbsp salt and boiling water and heat over medium heat.
11- Bring the water to a boil.
12- Drop the gnocchi into the water and continue to heat.
13- Cooked Gnocchis will float in few minutes.
14- Using a strainer, remove floated gnocchis and place them on plate.
15- Add parmesan cheese and marinara sauce before serving.
