
Plums or Prunes Stew
1.5 lb (680g) Chicken Thighs 1 lb (454g) Plums 1/4 Cup Pomegranate Paste 1 Onion Turmeric Salt 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil Preparations: 1- Slice the onions and plums. Directions: 1- Fry the onions in vegetable oil. 2- Stir in turmeric, chicken thighs and salt. 3- Fry the chicken thighs (both sides). 4- Add water, cover the pot and simmer for 20 minutes over medium heat. 5- Stir in pomegranate paste and the plums. 6- Cover the pot and continues simmering for another 20 minutes.
