Pita Bread
2 Cups All-Purpose Flour 2 Tsp Instant Yeast 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil 1/2 Tsp Salt 1/4 Tsp Sugar Preparations: None. Directions: 1- Combine flour, instant yeast, salt and sugar in a large bowl. 2- Add vegetable oil. 3- While stirring, Pour in one cup warm water gradually. (Add more flour if needed) 4- Knead the dough for 7 minutes. 5- Remove dough from the bowl and form into a ball. 6- Grease a bowl with vegetable oil and transfer the dough over. 7- Cover the bowl and place in a warm place to rise for 2 hours or it has doubled in size. 8- Divide the the dough in 16 pieces. Form each piece into a ball. Pull the dough from the sides and tuck underneath. 9- Roll out each ball to a flat 1/4 inch dough. 10- Transfer the dough onto a floured cookie pan. 11- Preheat oven to 500º F (260º C), bake each side for 5 minutes.
