5 oz (140g) Almond Meal/Flour 1/2 Cup (3.5 oz / 100g) Sugar 1/4 Tsp Saffron 1/4 Tsp Cardamom Powder Preparations: 1- Soak saffron in 2 tbsp boiling water for 20 Minutes. Directions: 1- Combine sugar with 1/3 cup water and bring to a boil in a saucepan. 2- Over medium heat, simmer the mixture for 5 to 10 minutes or until thickens. 3- Stir in cardamom powder. 4- Turn of the heat and stir in the almond meal / flour. 5- Keep stirring until well mixed. 6- Cover a bakeware with a plastic wrap and transfer the mixture into the bakeware. 7- Allow the loz to cool down. Cut into diamond shapes.
