Khashil
1 Cup Whole Wheat or Bulgur Wheat 3 Tbsp All-Purpose Flour 1 Cup Milk 2 Tbsp Honey 4 Tbsp Unsalted Butter Preparations: 1- Soak wheat in water overnight. Directions: 1- Drain and transfer the wheat onto a pot. 2- Add 2 cups of water. 3- Cover the pot with a lid (leave a crack open), Simmer for 2 hours over medium-low heat. 4- Mash if whole wheat is used. 5- Warm flour in a saucepan for 3 to 5 minutes while stirring. 6- Add in a cup of water and stir until mixed. 7- Stir the mixture into the wheat pot. 8- Keep heating for 10 more minutes. 9- Allow to cool down. 10- Combine the milk with honey. 11- Melt butter in a saucepan. 12- Serve the butter and milk mixture next or over the wheat Khashil.
