Homemade Gyro
1 Lb (454g) Ground Beef (30% Fat) 1 Onion 1 Garlic Clove Pita Bread Rosemary, Oregano, Thyme, Ground Cumin, Salt, Black Pepper, Crushed Bay Leaves Zucchini Tzatziki Sauce Feta Cheese Onion, Tomato, Lettuce Preparations: 1- Grate one onion. 2- Slice an onion. 3- Dice the tomato and lettuce. 4- Crumbled feta cheese. Directions: 1- Strain the water out of grated onion. 2- Mash a fresh garlic clove over the grated onion. 3- Add the ground beef to the mixture. 4- Garnish with rosemary, oregano, thyme, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. 5- Stir until all the ingredients are well mixed. 6- Transfer the beef over onto a bakeware covered with aluminum foil. 7- Garnish with rosemary, oregano, and crushed bay leaves. 8- Preheat oven to 350º F (177º C), roast the beef for 30 minutes. 9- Slice the beef. 10- Warm up pita breads before serving. 11- Spread a layer of tzetziki sauce over the pita bread. 12- Add slices of baked beef, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and crumbled feta cheese and wrap.
