Chocolate Mousse Cake
2 Tbsp All Purpose Flour 2 Eggs 1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream 1/4 Cup Instant Pudding 1/4 Cup Sugar 1 Tbsp Sugar 1 Tbsp Unsalted Butter 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter 2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder 1 Tbsp Cocoa Powder 1/2 Tsp Cream Of Tartar 1/4 Tsp Vanilla Extract Chocolate Chips Preparations: None. Directions: BATTER: 1- Melt 1 tbsp butter. Cover a bakeware surface with parchment paper and grease with the melted butter. 2- Dust the bakeware with cocoa powder. 3- In a separate container, Combine 2 tbsp flour and cocoa powder and set aside. 4- In two separate bowls, separate one egg yolk and white and add the whole another egg to the egg yolk. Whisk the eggs until fluffy. 5- Stir in 1/4 cup sugar and vanilla extract to the bowl gradually while whisking. 6- Melt (2 tbsp) butter. Allow to cool down a bit and stir in the mixture. 7- Whisk the egg white until stiff. 8- Stir in (1 tbsp) sugar and cream of tartar. 9- Gradually, Fold/stir the egg white mixture and sugar/cocoa powder mixture to the egg yolk mixture. 10- Transfer the batter over into the bakeware. 11- Preheat oven to 400º F (204º C), bake the batter for 12 minutes. CREAM: 12- Whisk heavy whipping cream until creamy. 13- Stir in instant pudding and (1 Tbsp) cocoa powder and whisk until well mixed. 14- Remove the cake of off the oven. Allow to cool down and cut into one inch layers. 15- Apply a layer of the cream in between of each cake layer. 16- Cover the cake with the remaining of the cream. 17- Top the cake with chocolate chips.
