1/2 Gallon (1.9 Liter) Whole Milk 16 fl oz (1/2 liter) Plain Yogurt 1 Tbsp Sour Cream Preparations: None. Directions: 1- Combine milk, plain yogurt and sour cream in a pot. 2- Stir until all the ingredients are well mixed. 3- Cover the pot. 4- Preheat oven to 150º F (65º C), heat the mixture for an hour or until it just becomes warm. 5- Cover the pot with a cloth and place in a warm room temperature for 24 hours. 6- Over low heat, heat up the pot until warm for about 40 minutes. 7- Cover the pot with a lid and a cloth and keep in warm temperature for another 24 hours. 8- Over medium-low heat, keep the heat for 40 minutes or until it gets warm and you see the cheese is clustering and separating. 9- Turn off the stove, cover the pot and allow to cool down. 10- Transfer the mixture into a fine mesh cheesecloth. 11- Drain the excessive water and tie the cloth tight. 12- Transfer the cheese over a tray (as shown in the video) and cover with another hard surface or a tray. 13- Place a heavy object such as a heavy cast iron pot. 14- Leave for 10 to 12 hours.
