BRIE CHEESE RECIPE
17 oz (452g) Brie Cheese Fillo Dough (5 - 7 Sheets) 3 Tbsp Rum Essence (Rum) 1/2 Cup Pomegranate 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar 3 Tbsp Syrup 1/2 Cup Pecans 1 Tbsp Unsalted Butter 1 Apple (Sour) PREPARATIONS: None. DIRECTIONS: 1-Combine rum, brown sugar, and syrup in pot, stir and continue heating until sugar is thoroughly dissolved. 2- Add pecans, stir and continue the heat for few more minutes. 3- Cut brie cheese in half horizontally. 4- Transfer the rum mixture and spread across on one half of the brie cheese. 5- Top with a pomegranate. 6- Place the other half of the brie cheese over the top. 7- Wrap with a sheet of fillo dough. 8- Melt unsalted butter and brush all over the fillo dough. 9- Place the cheese seam side down and wrap another sheet of fillo dough around the cheese. 10- Repeat the process few times more (preferably 5 more sheets). 11- Keep the cheese in refrigerate for 20 minutes. 12- Preheat over to 400º F (204º C), bake the cheese for 8 minutes. Enjoy the cheese with sour apple or crackers.
