RANGINAK ROULETTE

"Dates and Walnuts Roulette"

1 1/2 Lb (680 g) Dates 3/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour 7 Tbsp Butter 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil 1 Tsp Cinnamon Powder 2/3 Cup Walnuts Shredded Coconut PREPARATIONS: 1- Remove seeds from the dates. 2- Grind the walnuts. DIRECTIONS: 1- Grind/mash the dates. 2- Grease a rolling pin and spread the mashed dates over a plastic or a flexible non stick sheet. 3- Heat 3/4 cup of all-purpose flour in a pan over medium heat until light brown, Stir continuously. 4- Add 7 Tbsp butter to the pan and continue stirring for few more minutes. 5- Add 1/4 cup vegetable oil, stir well. 6- Turn the heat off, add 1 tsp cinnamon powder, stir and let cool down for few minutes. 7- Spread the batter on top of the dates layer. 8- Heat the ground walnuts over medium heat for few minutes. 9- Pour the walnuts over the walnuts layer and spread evenly. 10- Begin rolling the roulette gradually and put pressure each time. 11- Put the roulette in the refrigerator for two hours. 12- Cut the roulette vertically {as preferred). 13- Sprinkle shredded coconut over the roulette before serving.
