Green beans casserole
12 oz (340g) Turkey Bacon (Frozen) 3 lbs. (1.3 Kg) Green Beans 15 oz (425g) Cream Of Mushroom Soup 3 Cups Whole Milk or Buttermilk 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour 2 Small Onions 2 Garlic Cloves 1/4 Cup Ranch Powder Salt, Black Pepper Vegetable Oil 2 Cups Ice Water Preparations: 1- Dice the turkey bacon. 2- Dice one onion and chop the other one. 3- Slice the green beans. Directions: 1- Fry the turkey bacon in a frying pan. 2- Stir in the diced onion and fry until translucent. 3- Mash the garlic clove on top. Stir and continue frying for few more minutes. 4- In a separate bowl, combine salt and water and bring to a boil. 5- Add the green beans and boil for 7 minutes. 6- Using a strainer spoon, transfer the green beans into a bowl filled with ice water and allow to cool off for few minutes. 7- Add the green beans to the turkey bacon mixture. 8- Add salt and black pepper (as much as you'd prefer). 9- Stir in cream of mushroom soup and keep stirring until all the ingredients are well combined. 10- Transfer the mixture into a casserole dish. 11- Preheat oven to 350º F (177º C), cook the casserole for 20 minutes. 12- Meanwhile, Combine flour with ranch powder. 13- Deep the chopped onion into buttermilk then into the flour mixture. 14- Deep fry the onions in vegetable oil. 15- Add the fried onions on top the casserole before serving. (Note: use a napkin to drain the excessive oil from the onions).
