Deep Dish Chocolate Chip Cookie
1 Cup All-Purpose Flour 1/2 Cup Mini Chocolate Chips 6 oz (170g) Hazelnut Cocoa Spread 4 oz (113g) Unsalted Butter 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar 3 Tbsp Honey 1 Egg 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda 1/4 Tsp Salt Preparations: 1- Keep the butter at room temperature for 10 minutes to soften. Directions: 1- Whisk the butter to soften. 2- Whisk in the brown sugar, honey and vanilla extract. 3- Add an egg and whisk thoroughly. 4- Add baking soda, salt, and flour and continue whisking until well mixed. 5- Fold/stir in the chocolate chips. (Important: Fold. Do not whisk). 6- Cover a edged cookie pan or casserole dish with parchment paper. 7- Spread half of the batter across the pan. 8- Add a layer of the hazelnut cocoa spread (nutella). 9- Top with a layer of the remaining of the batter. 10- Scatter a layer of chocolate chips on top. 11- Preheat oven to 300º F (148º C), and bake the cookie for 40 to 50 minutes. 12- Remove the cookie from oven and allow to cool down before serving.
