
BREAKFAST BREAD
2 Cups All Purpose Flour 1.5 Tbsp Unsalted Butter (0.6 oz / 17g) 5 oz (142g) Sour Cream 1/4 Cup Milk 1 Egg 1 Tbsp Sugar 1/2 Tsp Salt 2 Tsp Instant Yeast 1/4 Tsp Vegetable Oil PREPARATIONS: None. DIRECTIONS: 1- Combine milk, butter and sour cream in a saucepan. 2- Over medium-low heat, heat the mixture while stirring until well mixed. 3- Turn off the heat, stir in sugar, salt and instant yeast. 4- Whisk in an egg to the mixture. 5- Gradually whisk in the flour. (The dough should resemble the one in the video, adjust the flour if needed). 6- Knead the dough for 5 to 10 minutes. 7- Place the dough in a greased (vegetable oil) bowl. Cover the bowl and allow to sit for an hour. 8- Grease a cookie pan with vegetable oil, and sprinkle some flour over the pan. 9- Divide the dough in 9 pieces. Shape the dough to a small ball shape and arrange onto the pan. 10- Preheat over to 375º F (190º C), bake the breads for 30 minutes. 11- Brush the breads with butter.
