BEEF STROGANOFF
1 lb (453 g) Stew Beef 2 Garlic Cloves 1 Onion 4 Tbsp Vegetable Oil Salt, Ground Chili Pepper 1 Tbsp Tomato Paste 2 Tbsp Dijon Mustard 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice 1 Tbsp All-Purpose Flour 1 Potato Sour Cream PREPARATIONS: 1- Slice the onion. 2- Cut the beef into 1/2 inch strips. 3- Peel the potato and slice as preferred. DIRECTIONS: 1- Place the sliced beef into a pot, add the garlic cloves, pour boiling water into the pot until covers the beef. 2- Cover the pot with a lid and simmer for 90 minutes over medium heat. 3- Meanwhile, fry the sliced onion in a frying pan or pot with 2 tbsp vegetable oil until golden. 4- Using a a colander spoon, Remove the cooked beef strips and place them in the onions's pot. (Keep the broth). 5- Add a pinch of salt, ground chili pepper, 1 tbsp tomato paste, 2 tbsp dijon mustard and 2 tbsp lemon juice to the pot. stir well. 6- Now add the beef broth to the mixture, add 1 tbsp of all purpose flour, and stir thoroughly. 7- Cover the pot with a lid (leave a crack for the steam to scape) and cook for 30 min. 8- Fry the sliced potatoes with 2 tbsp vegetable oil and add to the side with sour cream when serve.
