CARAMEL POPCORN

1/2 Cup (100g) 3.5 oz Popcorn Kernels 1 oz (28g) Unsalted Butter 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup 1/2 Cup Sugar 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil !/2 Tsp Salt 1/3 Tsp Vanilla Extract 1/4 Tsp Baking Powder PREPARATIONS: None. DIRECTIONS: 1- Transfer vegetable oil to a pan. Heat the oil up on medium high heat. 2- Put the popcorn kernels into the pan, cover the pan and allow the popcorns to pop thoroughly. 3- Transfer the popped popcorns onto a large container (bowl) and allow to cool down. 4- Melt unsalted butter in a pot. 5- Stir in sugar and salt. 6- Add maple syrup and mix thoroughly. 7- Simmer the mixture for 3 minutes over medium heat. 8- Turn off the oven, stir in vanilla extract and baking powder. 9- Pour the mixture over the popcorns and stir until all of the popcorns are coated. 10- Transfer the popcorns to a cookie pan covered with parchment paper. 11- Preheat oven to 250º F (121º C), bake the popcorns for 40 minutes.
