Lemon Pound Cake
2/3 Cup All-Purpose Flour 1/2 Cup (4 oz / 113g) Unsalted Butter 1/2 Cup (5.2 oz / 150g) Sugar 2 Eggs 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder 1/2 Lemon 1/2 Lemon Zest 1/4 Tsp Salt Preparations: 1- Keep the butter at room temperature 30 minutes before the use. Directions: 1- Whisk butter and sugar together in a large bowl. 2- Whisk in the eggs to the butter mixture. 3- Stir in vanilla extract. 4- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. 5- Add the flour mixture to the butter bowl gradually (while whisking). 6- Add lemon zest and squeeze half of lemon into the bowl (1/4 cup). Continue whisking thoroughly. 7- Grease a bakeware with butter and transfer the batter to the bakeware. 8- Preheat oven to 350º F (177c), bake the cake for 45 minutes.
