1/2 Cup (4 oz / 115g) Split Yellow Peas 8 oz (227g) Ground Beef 0.5 oz (14g) Parsley Mint Cilantro Fenugreek 3.5 oz (100g) Walnuts 2 Eggs 1 Onion 1 Potato 2 Garlic Cloves Turmeric Salt Cinnamon Powder Preparations: 1- Mince the herbs (parsley, mint, cilantro, fenugreek). 2- Grind the walnuts. Directions: 1- Add enough water to split yellow peas to cover them all. 2- Over medium heat, simmer the peas until cooked. (15 to 20 minutes). 3- Transfer the herbs onto a large bowl. 4- Mash in the garlic cloves. 5- Grate the onion and potato into the bowl. 6- Add the ground beef, turmeric, salt, cinnamon powder, ground walnuts, and two eggs. 7- Stir thoroughly until all the ingredients well mixed. 8- Make patties and fry with vegetable oil.
