Matcha Cookies (Matcha Tea Cookies)
1 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour 1 Tbsp Matcha Powder 1 Egg 4 oz (113g) Unsalted Butter 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar 1/3 Cup Sugar 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder 1/2 Tbsp Vanilla Extract Preparations: 1- Leave the butter in room temperature 10 minutes prior to making this recipe. Directions: 1- Whisk the butter until softened. 2- Add sugar and brown sugar. 3- Add an egg and vanilla extract and whisk thoroughly. 4- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and matcha powder. Stirring until well mixed. 5- Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture while whisking. 6- Using a ice cream scoop, transfer the batter onto a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper. 7- Bake the cookies for 10 to 15 minutes over 350º F (177º C).
