Easter Bread
2 Cups All Purpose Flour 2 Eggs 3 Boiled Easter Eggs 2/3 Cup Milk 3 Tbsp Unsalted Butter 1/4 Cup Sugar 1 Tsp Instant Yeast 1/2 Tsp Cardamom 1/8 Tsp Salt Vegetable Oil Preparations: 1- Heat the milk to 110º F (43º C). 2- Grind the cardamom. Directions: 1- Combine an egg with unsalted butter. 2- Add instant yeast, sugar, salt, cardamom, and the warm milk. 3- While whisking, add in the flour gradually. 4- Knead the batter for 7 minutes. 5- Grease a container with butter and transfer the batter to the container. 6- Cover the container and keep in a warm place for an hour for the batter to double in size. 7- Grease working surface with vegetable oil and transfer the batter over. 8- Divide the batter to 6 equal pieces. 9- Roll the batter into a 15 inch bar. 10- Braid two of the batters together as shown in the video. 11- Cover the batter and allow to rise for one more hour. 12- Transfer the batter to a cookie pan cover with parchment paper. 13- Brush the batters with egg wash. (One beaten egg) 14- Grease an egg with vegetable oil and place in the center of the batter. 15- Preheat oven to 350º f (177º c), bake the breads for 20 to 25 minutes.
